Milano Design Week 2023

On the occasion of the Salone del Mobile week that will take place in Milan from 18 to 23 April, Secursat once again this year, in continuity with the event organised during the last edition of the Salone del Mobile "Orizzonti Urbani - Arte & Sicurezza", presents a new event entitled "Orizzonti Luminosi - mostra al buio", curated by architect Alessia Bennani.

This year, the Secursat event is part of the official Fuorisalone circuit, whose central theme for the 2023 edition is Future Workshop, for a reflection on how to imagine and design the future, through innovative ideas, values and opportunities, for a tomorrow projected towards sustainability and technological innovation.

The exhibition

This group exhibition is an opportunity for us to share our space with important artists with whom we share ideas and values.

Orizzonti Luminosi - mostra al buio is a collective exhibition illuminated by the works of various artists, who through their art "reveal" not only a heterogeneous exhibition path, but also, a message addressed to the future and a profound reflection on the present. International contemporary artists, also active in France, England, the United States and China, attentive to the themes of sustainability and innovation, who through their art and their works will convey a message of hope and a different way of interpreting the present in the light of a more inclusive, sustainable and up-to-date future: Massimo Catalani, Mario Carlo Iusi, Vincenzo Marsiglia. Giangaetano Patanè, Domenico Pellegrino, Giulio Rigoni and Edward Spitz.

Works to illuminate, with the sense of revealing, making clear, visible to all, the importance of spreading an ethical and sustainable message.

Within the exhibition there will also be a Women's Workshop, made up of emerging female artists who experiment with a unique way of making and thinking about art through different materials, techniques and forms. The artists will be Francesca Amici, Livia Balducci and Yuriko Damiani.
