United Nations Global Compact
What is the UN Global Compact?
The United Nations Global Compact - is a pact sanctioned by the United Nations, created to encourage companies and enterprises around the world to adopt sustainable policies and to observe corporate social responsibility, promoting a more inclusive and sustainable global economy: respectful of human and labour rights, environmental protection and anti-corruption.
The initiative has two complementary aims: to make its Ten Principles - covering human rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption - and the UN Sustainable Development Goals an integral part of the strategy, culture and day-to-day operations of participating companies, and to encourage and facilitate dialogue and cooperation between all relevant stakeholders on sustainability issues.

The Italian Network
The UN Global Compact operates in Italy through the UN Global Compact Network Italia, an organisation established as a Foundation in 2013 after ten years of activity as an informal group. The Italian Network works to promote the UN Global Compact and its Ten Principles through cultural dialogue, participation and the dissemination of sustainability practices.
Within the Network there are over 650 Italian companies and non-profit organisations.

Secursat membership

In consideration of Secursat's constant commitment to sustainability and social responsibility in advancing the ethical values that distinguish us as a company, we have chosen to join the initiative and become part of the UN Global Compact Network Italy with the aim of building an increasingly sustainable, competitive and resilient business by contributing to a fairer and more responsible market.
Joining UNGC represents an opportunity to grow our commitment to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), as well as an opportunity to increase knowledge and skills to improve internal processes and accelerate our impact through measurable progress.
Not only that, this allows us to be compliant as a company with international regulations and standards, aligning with human rights, environmental and governance regulations, thus improving overall risk management and preventing possible scenario changes through responsible and conscious policies.
