A solidarity gift: Dynamo Camp

On the occasion of the Christmas holidays, Secursat has decided to support for the second consecutive year the Dynamo Camp project, the first Recreational Therapy Camp in Italy, created to host free of charge children and young people suffering from serious or chronic illnesses and their families and give them moments of light-heartedness and serenity.
Secursat has chosen to give therapy days at the Camp, and through its participation in the charity initiative ‘Packages of Happiness’ promoted by Dynamo Camp in collaboration with Feltrinelli bookshops, has also contributed to giving 30 families a special Christmas.
What is Dynamo Camp?
Dynamo Camp has been active since 2007 and is located in Tuscany, in the province of Pistoia, in an Oasis affiliated with the WWF. It offers children, young people and their families the opportunity to spend a fun and carefree time through the recreational therapy programmes offered by the Camp and its volunteers. All of this takes place in a safe, protected, barrier-free place, where each of them has the opportunity to carry out and share multiple activities, from sports to creative workshops, together with many other youngsters and thanks to the support of highly qualified staff. The aim is to give each of them moments of light-heartedness, happiness through sharing and inclusiveness.
Why Dynamo Camp?
In order to further strengthen the values that distinguish us as a company and that we strive to uphold on a daily basis, we wanted to make a significant and, above all, concrete gesture, by donating therapy days at the Camp, to promote inclusion, socialisation and the right to happiness that is due to each of us.
A choice of solidarity and social commitment for the community that has allowed us to do our small part, not only as a company, but also as people, concretely supporting a reality like Dynamo Camp that has been carrying out invaluable work for many families for years.
