Data-Driven Security and Technology Governance
Data-Driven Security: the new approach to technology governance
In a context where threats, operational complexities and technological infrastructures are rapidly evolving, Secursat introduces an innovative approach to security based on data, technology integration and modern, measurable operational governance.
Through an analysis of over 1,500 sites, millions of reports monitored by SOC 50518:2023 and events managed by the Security Team, we have compiled the first intersectoral security report containing aggregate analyses and operational insights for an effective and efficient security model.
The management of Secursat 2025 SOCs
The Intersectoral report
Secursat's Security 2025 intersectoral report presents a comprehensive analysis of security data collected between 2023 and 2025 by the technological systems managed by the Security Operation Centres in Milan and Asti, with the aim of assessing the effectiveness of an integrated, technological and prevention-oriented security model. The report is based on the processing of millions of log files and the use of advanced no-code dashboards that allow criminal events, operational reports and infrastructure status to be correlated, transforming data analysis into an active risk management tool.

The analysis shows a sharp downward trend in criminal events, with a significant reduction already in 2024 compared to 2023 and a further improvement in 2025, which records about 50% fewer events than the previous year.
The report also highlights that the number of reports handled does not depend solely on the number of sites monitored, but above all on the level of technological integration, the operational management model and the quality of governance processes, as shown by a comparison between the banking and retail sectors.
Another significant finding concerns operational management: approximately 99% of reports are related to technological and maintenance factors (line interruptions, obsolete equipment, incorrect procedures and self-service area management) rather than actual criminal events.
This document aims to provide an initial overview of the strategic positioning of the security model implemented by Secursat, as well as to highlight new areas for improvement and attention in order to direct active data analysis in such a way as to deepen predictive techniques and optimise processes.
