The GSCR project for Hitachi Rail Sts
The Project
Secursat has designed and built at the Naples Head Quarter of Hitachi Rail Sts, a world player in the railway sector, an innovative and avant-garde location: a Global Security Control Room (GSCR), built to monitor security plants and systems, and not only in the Group's 6 Italian plants, and in the future also abroad, according to innovative, digital and sustainable logic.
A physical and digital place, designed according to the logic of integration and digitalisation of platforms and processes. A hub that allows the unified management of all the security systems installed at the Italian plants for a unified and sustainable governance of security in real time, thanks to modern and intelligent technologies, which allow the collection of data and information necessary for analysis and evaluation of processes and behaviour and the management of critical and non-critical events.
The GSCR was designed by Secursat according to the EU standard UNI 50518:2020 and today works in backup, to guarantee disaster recovery and business continuity, with Secursat SOCs, which guarantee full and complete technological governance thanks to a synergic and integrated work that allows a conscious and controlled risk externalisation.
Sustainability
Digitisation, systems integration, remote management of processes and activities, allow, through the efficient and effective use of technology itself, the development of digitised, remote and sustainable models that become the guidelines for the creation of a GSCR. Logics that allow for both cost and environmental savings: reductions in KM travelled due to the remoteisation of most activities and consequent reduction of C02 released into the environment.
